The Somersworth Gateway offers 3 function rooms. The smaller rooms seat up to 35 people and are located on the same floor as the restaurant.  The large function room is downstairs and seats up to 100 people.  The large function room includes a dance floor, and an area for a disc jockey or band and a bar.  A coat rack and restrooms are adjacent to the function rooms.

A service charge of $25 will be added for parties of 35 or less using the downstairs function room.  Hot buffets (including breakfast) requires a minimum of 35 people.  The cold luncheon buffet requires a minimum of 25 people.

If you would like alcohol at your function, a full service bar is available with the downstairs function room.  There is a $40 set-up fee for this service.  The bar is open for three hours.  Waitress service of alcohol is available in the small function room upstairs.

Parking is provided for functions on the west side of the restaurant (Rochester side) and includes an overflow gravel parking lot.

Our function rooms are booked on a "First come, First served" basis and we require a deposit to hold the date.  We will hold the room for 10 days, while you are deciding about the function.  The deposit is subtracted from the final bill.  In instances where the function has to be canceled for good reason, beyond the control of the booking party,  the deposit will be returned. 

Two weeks prior to the function, we must have the menu, number of people attending, and if appropriate, the number of people having each meal selected from the sit down dinner or lunch menus.  This number can be changed up to 7 days before the function. 
You will be charged for the number of people attending or 10%  less than the last number given, whichever is greater.  If the number of people attending exceeds the number given by 10%, we reserve the right to substitute another meal.

The function rooms are available with any menu/meal combination for 3 hour at no charge.  A service charge will be added for the time over 3 hours (4 hours for wedding receptions).  Function rooms are available 1 hour before the function for decoration.  Check with the function supervisor regarding permissible decorations.
